The o9 Global Supply Chain Planning Optimization and Process Improvement Director is responsible for identifying and implementing initiatives that address end-to-end o9 supply chain process gaps and drive optimization, particularly following the full integration of the o9 Supply Chain Planning Platform . This role focuses on enhancing demand planning, supply planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure seamless operations while maximizing profitability. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Information Technology, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Supply & Demand Planning, to identify opportunities for improvement in the o9 platform and drive continuous improvement strategies across the global Integrated Supply Chain platform. The Director will serve as the company representative in working with the o9 vendor to drive platform enhancements that align with business needs.
JOB DUTIES:
- Supply Chain System Optimization: Develop and execute strategies in o9 to continue to optimize global supply chain operations, including sourcing, procurement, production, and distribution.
- Process Improvement: Lead continuous change management actions to effectively use the o9 platform as designed globally.
- AI Supply Chain Software (o9) Enhancement: Integrate process improvement strategies into the o9 platform, ensuring its effective deployment and maximizing its impact on supply chain optimization.
- Vendor Collaboration: Serve as the company representative in working with the o9 vendor, providing feedback and driving platform enhancements to better support business needs.
- Cost Reduction & Efficiency: Identify cost-saving opportunities through o9 usage and adherence across the Supply Chain process while maintaining quality and service levels.
- Technology & Automation: Drive digital transformation by integrating new 09 technologies such as AI, predictive analytics, and automation to improve supply chain agility and performance.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and Product Development teams to align o9 supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- Project Management:
- Lead and oversee cross-functional o9 supply chain optimization projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Develop project roadmaps, define key milestones, and drive successful implementations.
- Utilize project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) to track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery, and provide progress reports to senior leaders.
- Platform Management: Work closely with o9 (AI Supply Chain Software) vendor to ensure the platform aligns with P&S’s supply chain strategies for Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Vendor Collaboration and Customer Data Management.
- Feedback for Improvement – This position will identify areas where the platform could be more efficient, user-friendly, or better aligned with business needs.
- Enhancement Requests – Suggests new features, modifications, or integrations that would improve system performance or functionality.
- Bug Identification – Reports issues or inefficiencies that need to be resolved to ensure smooth operation.
- Customization Needs – The user requests platform adjustments to better fit the company’s workflows or industry requirements.
- Collaboration for Optimization – The user actively engages with the provider to co-develop solutions that enhance system usability and business impact.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced analytics and KPIs to measure performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
- Training: Design and implement engaging training modules for o9 on new and existing processes to drive high adoption rates and operational efficiency.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 10+ years’ experience in supply chain management and operations.
- 5+ years’ process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years’ leading global supply optimization initiatives and driving business efficiency.
- 3+ years’ experience with ERP systems, supply chain analytics, and digital transformation tools including new ERP implementations and working closely with system providers.
